Musical Journeying : The Instruments
Himalayan Singing Bowls are objects said to be used by Tibetan Buddhist monks for meditation and rituals. They are made of precious metals and hammered by hand to reveal their unique musical and vibrational properties. The tones, overtones and sound-waves of the bowls draw all of our attention to them and bring us into a state of ease – positively affecting the mind, central nervous system, physical body and chakras or energy centers of the body. During a musical journeying experience, the Himalayan bowls and other instruments interweave to lead and accompany your inner travels. Variously tuned Chimes dapple sound throughout and allow for their own images and feelings to occur. A beating heart may show itself in a Native American Drum. Rainstick and Rhythm Instruments bring the ambience of nature. Mystical Musical Drums interact with the bowls and take their own time to transport the mind and lead the way to heart center. A large Chau Gong brings an immediate sense of inward connection to present time. The melodies that are drawn out of the instrument called Voice bring you home to your essence.
If you let go a little, you will have a little peace; if you let go a lot, you will have a lot of peace; if you let go completely, you will have complete peace.
