I hand paint glass cabochons and then seal and set them into either permanent settings or into removal snaps that can be replaced with other snaps for an entirely different piece of jewelry. Here are some examples of permanently set pendants. In these photographs, the pieces have been enlarged from their actual size to show detail. A few of them also show the reflection of the light source used to photograph them and are not part of the design. The reflective quality of the glass is part of the beauty of these pieces.
Here are examples of snap jewelry pieces. They are completely interchangeable and allow for an imaginative approach to styling your own bracelets, pendants, or earrings. It is as easy as popping the cabochon out of the setting and replacing it with another of your choice. In many cases, I have created enough snaps from the same color palette to allow to match bracelets and pendants. The middle photograph in the top row shows the snaps enlarged for detail (monitor size dependent.) Their actual size is approximately 3/4″ diameter.
Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known.
